Digital Healthcare Reform in Northern Cyprus

On March 2, the TRNC Ministry of Health launched a new electronic appointment system for public hospitals, Hastane Randevu Sistemi (HRS). The implementation of the platform is part of a systemic reform aimed at modernizing the healthcare sector and increasing the availability of medical services for the population.

The new system will simplify the process of making an appointment with a doctor and reduce waiting times.

How to make an appointment

Patients will have two options for making an appointment:

• by phone;
• online 24/7.
• Online registration requires an account in the e-Devlet system. You can get a password at the district administration (kaymakamlyk).

Important information

During the launch period, there may be short-term technical disruptions in the system.
At the current stage, only citizens of the TRNC have access to e-Devlet. A separate registration mechanism is being developed for foreign citizens.

The introduction of HRS is another step towards the formation of a modern digital healthcare infrastructure in Northern Cyprus. The region continues to actively develop public services, improving the level of comfort and safety of living.
