About Mersin districts

Let's talk about Mersin... Why? Because it is a sin not to consider this Mediterranean pearl from all sides.

Where to "settle down"? What neighborhood is worth considering seriously and for a long time? Let's consider a few of them:

• Akdeniz, the central district of the city, is the industrial center of Mersin, where cement, glass, and oil factories operate. With convenient transportation links, including a train station, this area serves as a key point for the local economy. Schools, hospitals, and Ataturk Park are also located here, giving the area an atmosphere of rest and relaxation.

Here it is immediately clear, jobs, infrastructural interchanges, and social life are all well established.

• Yenisehir, between Akdeniz and Mezitli, is not the smallest in area, but it is one of the most culturally and business-oriented central districts.

With shopping centers such as Forum, along with two major universities, and pleasant promenades lined with cafes and playgrounds, as well as the Mersin-Marina marina, the area is a popular destination for recreation and entertainment.

• The Mezitli district, close to the center, offers sandy beaches and a diverse infrastructure including supermarkets, restaurants and medical facilities.
