At the beginning of July, Alanya hosted celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of Maritime and Cabotage Day, one of Türkiye's most important national holidays.

One of the highlights was an exhibition featuring ancient ship carvings preserved on the walls of Alanya Castle. The exhibition introduced visitors to the region's rich maritime heritage and was also part of the celebrations marking the 800th anniversary of the Red Tower (Kızılkule), one of the city's most iconic landmarks.

The celebrations once again highlighted Alanya's rich historical and cultural heritage, where ancient traditions blend seamlessly with modern life, attracting thousands of visitors every year.

Congratulations to the people of Türkiye on the 100th anniversary of Maritime and Cabotage Day! ⚓ We wish you prosperity, success, calm seas, and new achievements. May Türkiye's maritime traditions continue to inspire future generations!
