What's the point?
Previously, there was a cadastral value threshold of $200,000 for obtaining a residence permit through property. Now this requirement has been LIFTED for obtaining a TOURIST residence permit (turistik ikamet).

What does this mean for you?
If you have an apartment, apartment or house in Turkey, you can again use the fact of owning them as a basis for legal and long-term residence, regardless of their market or cadastral price.

Reminder: only the cost threshold has been canceled. All other conditions (valid passport, medical insurance, financial security, registration at the address of this property) remain in force and must be met.
