Great news! Turkey has simplified rulesfor short-term rentals 🏠

➡️ The Official Gazette has published changes to the ordinance regulating short-term rentals. Here's what's changed now:

1️⃣It has become easier to obtain a short-term rental license! Now it is enough to fulfill two of the following conditions:

  • Reception, security, daily cleaning service
  • Dry cleaning, laundry, transportation service
  • Cafe, restaurant, stores
  • Gym
  • Swimming pool

The deadline for compliance has been extended until 31.12.2024

2️⃣ Now you only need the consent of 80% of the owners to get a license, instead of 100% as it was before.

3️⃣ The initial violation fine has been waived! You have 15 days to correct the deficiencies.

4️⃣ Applications for short-term rental permits will be processed within 60 days, instead of 30.

🔹 Other conditions remain unchanged for the time being.
