📌 A residence permit by guarantee refers to a short-term tourist residence permit (Kısa dönem Turistik).

📌 Basic requirements
- You will need a guarantor to obtain such a residence permit. The guarantor will draw up a document with a notary in which he/she assumes responsibility for you.

📌 Who can be a guarantor
- The guarantor can be a Turkish citizen or a holder of a residence permit.

❗️ Important:

🔹️ If the guarantor is himself/herself a holder of a residence permit, the validity period of your residence permit cannot exceed the validity period of the guarantor's residence permit.

🔹️ If your guarantor is married, his/her spouse is also required to write a surety bond.

🔹️ The guarantor does not have to own real estate. The document only needs to state that the guarantor will provide you with a place to live.

🔹️ You must live at the address listed on the surety bond.

📌 To execute a surety bond with a notary public, you need
🔹️ Translated and notarized passport of the guarantor
🔹️ Residence registration at the address
🔹️ Residence permit of the guarantor
🔹️ Personal presence of the guarantor

📌 At the moment it has become much more difficult to obtain a primary tourist residence permit on general grounds (rent/guarantee). Exception - citizens of Ukraine
